Description
India is a vast country that has glaring social, cultural, linguistic, and economic disparities. This makes it impossible to adopt a one-sided evaluation of various sociological parameters. Therefore, it is obvious that there can be no scope for ambiguity in communication, especially if it involves the rural population. The aim of this project was to increase the awareness of the rural population about issues pertaining to family planning and sexual health. A methodical and accurate analysis of various communication strategies used and the responses of the rural community to each of these strategies are presented in this book. This publication reiterates the fact that design cannot be exclusivist in nature and it has an important role to play in reinforcing social responsibility.
